the other day we were discussing dating and this one dude was like “I don’t see the big deal why can’t people just ask people out without all the fuss” and another guy was like “well you get nervous and you get butterflies in your stomach ya know” and the first dude looked the other dude straight in the eye and said “DIGEST THEM.”

why are girls being told that they should feel good about their bodies because guys like them?? Girls should be told to feel great about their bodies because they are great not just because guys find them attractive. Girls should not find their worth in what guys think of them. It’s such a sexist and heteronormative concept?!!??

Telling your son not to “be such a girl” lets his sister who overhears the conversation know that being a girl is not a good thing and she should be sorry and ashamed of herself.

It also reminds your son that being a boy is better than being a girl and therefore he is better than any girl he will ever meet.

In russian if you cry you get called a cabbage. Vote to change “dont be such a girl to “dont be such a cabbage” say I.

Hello! I’ve just published a new Hunger Games fanfiction. Here is the blurb and the link:

Forgive and Forget

After the war, Katniss isn’t the only one who found it hard to move on. Gale also blamed himself for what he had done yet he prayed that the woman he loved would one day forgive him. However, he never plucked up the courage to talk to her to find out. What happens when he loses her forever, and with it, his chance to forgive and forget?

omg this reminds me of the most adorable time when my friend had leaked in art class and she was tearing up a bit and this guy who’s usually quiet but is judged as a jerk because his friends tend to be jerks gets up and throws red paint on the side of her shorts and on his own shorts and throws a couple of other colors in too and starts a mini paint war and other people joined in and i nearly cried because of how cute it was

…

Hold on to those men and never let go

daily reminder that the boy you’re in love with at 16 probably won’t matter when you’re 25.

daily reminder that the math test you failed your freshman year of high school probably won’t matter when you’re graduating college.

daily reminder that the problems you’re facing today may seem like the worlds end, but they will not matter in a year.

daily reminder that you’re going to be okay.

everything is going to be okay.
